Our Mission

The outbreak of covid-19 (Coronavirus) has highlighted how much more progress the research community needs to conduct to understand the link between respiratory diseases and breathing patterns. Deeper understanding could help us develop methods to test for respiratory diseases in scalable ways such as over the phone.

This dataset will help the medical research community pursue new research directions. Such research could lead to techniques to diagnose conditions like covid-19 over the phone without any physical contact using AI in the future [1].

To help with the immediate covid-19 pandemic, this dataset will be made freely available to researchers under suitable arrangements.
